The ASC Series utilizes closed loop control based on Oriental Motor's original Alpha Step technology. With the ASC series there is no hunting or gain tuning required. The built-in rotor position detection sensor constantly monitors the motor movement. If synchronism is about to be lost, closed loop control is used.
